This app used to stream tv to my phone. Now its no longer in the app. Whole reason I got this tv over the other brands. At least they got the remote back in the app.

If it worked it would be great app and function for a great tv. Apple should come out with an actual TV because they wouldnt release an app with this many flaws. No wonder Samsung is always chasing apple. This app is a perfect example

I have Samsung 2015 Smart TV and when trying to connect to it using Smart View I get notification to use Smart View 2.0 to enjoy multiple screen view and go to the App Store. When downloaded this "smart" view it says my tv is not supported. Really Samsung? This is best you can do?

I can watch TV on iphone at the same time TV is showing before update to new version. But now I cannot do this

This latest update works great. Finally did a good job with this app.

This would be great if I didnt have to leave the app open on my phone to use it.

My TV is a J5500 -- a model that the app claims to support. I can ping the TV from the IPad, so I know that they are on the same network. The app says "No TV found". This app should be called Shart View, not Smart View.

It connects pretty well to the TV and transfers content well and the remote control feature is good too. Everything that goes to the TV works OK. The 2 missing stars are because of the missing feature of streaming from the TV to the computer. I have a TV on the second floor that has a digital over-the-air antenna and I used Smart View 2.0 to transmit the TV reception from that TV to the computers, iPhones, iPad and Galaxy Tab Pro 12 on the first floor. After upgrading I lost that functionality. Thank God I had a backup of the Smart View 2.0 installer so at least I can watch TV on the first floor on the computers. Bring back the TV-to-PC/Mobile devices back and you get the 5 stars.

This app is utter useless. Unlike it suggests I dont see a tv remote in it. Also, I cant cast my iPhone screen on the tv. The only thing i can do with this app is that I can photos,videos and music from my iPhone to tv.

Takes about 5 seconds to transfer an image to the TV and the video streaming lags and stops every few seconds even though Im sat next to the router and the TV is connected to the Ethernet

This app seems to get worse with updates. Updated the app 2 days ago...BIG MISTAKE, NO LO GER SUPPORTS KEYPAD FUNCTIONS.. WTH is the point of using a phone to access a smart tv IF YOU CANT USE THE FLIPN keypad on the phone to type the numerous emails and passwords associated with a smart tv. Seriously samsung I was a fanboy because of ultraslim tvs, blur and judder. This morning i bought a j6200 smart TV well guesse what smart view not supported but it is supported on lesser models. Returned j6200 and bought j6300, and guess flipn what... samsung fd up the smart view app such that it just a waste of space on a phone and useless for controling a tv. Seriously samsung you really took a stinky dump with this app. Bring back keyboard control on iphones or just accept the app is useless. Wish I could give negative stars.

There is NO keyboard available, nor is there any remote controls, even though the app pictures show you there is. This app is garbage.

Like many others I could not get my Smart View (ver. 1.5.4) app to display a required PIN number on my UN55J6300 TV. My TV defaults to HDMI port 1 and in that mode the PIN does not display, even though the app correctly senses and lists my Wi-Fi name and TV model number. I found that you have to put the TV in Smart Hub (button on remote) mode before going to the app screen that asks for the PIN entry. Once I did that the TV displayed the PIN, and the app worked as described. I think many of the negative reviews on this app are due to lack of good instructions.

You can NO longer watch the live tv on your mobile device. It is a shame that the most wonderful feature is now gone. No longer need for this app. It was a selling point for me to buy my smart tv.

When i try to stream my videos from the photo roll to tv it buffers every few seconds. Everything else works fine but my kids love to stream their homemade iphone videos to tv and it is terribly buffering

would not connect.

Cant even stream a video. Not worth the atoms the app takes up in the universe.

Updated and app ca no longer find my 2014 TV

The other reviews are right. Dont bother with the beta.
