Thank you for using Samsung Smart View app.
Unfortunately, Smart View app will no longer be supported from Oct. 5, 2020.
Please note, if you delete Smart View app from your mobile device, you will not be able to download it again. You can continue to use Smart View app unless you delete the app.
For models over K5500 in 2016, M5500 in 2017*, and The Frame, you can enjoy a new mobile and TV experience by installing the Samsung SmartThings app from Google Play Store, Samsung Galaxy Store, and Apple App Store.

Just a great app to control your Samsung Smart TV.
And the new Remote is awesome
I have an iPhone and I think that could be a major factor as to why the app does not work. It happened to "work" once where I had to enter a pin but when I entered the pin from my phone, it didnt go through and gave an error message. The only thing that worked was the easy uninstall of the app.

This app was is back to greatness.
It was a good app, they made it worse by removing functionality with an update, but Samsung listened and brought all of those features back and more, and did so better than before.
Updating my rating from 1-star to 5-star. Thank you Samsung.
The app works fine for me on my ks9000. All I would recommend is better video buffering as when Im trying to send videos to the tv it pauses every 3 seconds to load more. Some more functionality would be good too such as sending from tv to the device. Overall though set-up was easy and no bugs/crashes encountered. Yet.
Im happy the remote is back and seems to be working better than before. I havent tried much else out but the remote is great

Why bother create an apo that doesnt support all their smart tv models????
Just purchased a new Samsung 40" smart tv. Model number says its supported. The app detects the TV, but says my TV is not supported for the app. Even though there is a link on my TV !! Figure this out Samsung. My first Samsung purchase and I am not impressed
Do not try use "trackpad" and any other browser feature! PS. wifi connection drops every few minutes.. dont know why.. Save your health and beware this app
Says it will work on our new TV but doesnt. Detects TV and says, "not supported".
Total crap after update doesnt even find tv, and yes its a 2015! Someone needs to be throat punched
A long time ago I downloaded this app for my Samsung tv and it worked back then. It no-longer works. It recognizes the network.
